Admission Requirements

Welcome to North Florida Institute of Theology and Technology. Our university is dedicated to meeting the highest standards of online education. We are here to ensure that you are properly equipped for every good work.

Prospective students seeking admission to the North Florida Institute of Theology and Technology must be no less than 16 years of age.

The standards for admissions are listed below.

 

Ordination, Licensing, and Certifications

  • Register online.
  • Pay the required fee.
  • Ministry reference letter.
  • No minimum grade point average required.

 

Associate of Arts Program

  • Register online.
  • Official transcripts mailed in sealed envelopes from all institutions previously attended.
  • Ministry reference letter.
  • A minimum high school cumulative grade point average of 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale).

 

Bachelors of Arts Program

  • Register online.
  • Official transcripts mailed in sealed envelopes from all institutions previously attended.
  • Ministry reference letter.
  • A minimum high school cumulative grade point average of 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale).

 

Graduate Program

  • Register online.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from any regionally accredited institutions, or non-accredited institutions approved on a case-by-case basis.
  • A minimum undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 2.50 (on a 4.00 scale).
  • Writing Sample – A 1000 word essay that shows the applicant’s proficiency in biblical, theological, and ministry related writing.
  • Ministry reference letter.
  • Official transcripts mailed in sealed envelopes from all institutions previously attended.

 

 

Students may be provisionally admitted to the program by submitting unofficial transcripts before official transcripts are received by the University. Official transcripts must be submitted to the academic advising office by the end of the first class. Any applicant not meeting the above-stated requirements may petition for consideration. Students applying for admission with less than a 2.0 cumulative GPA in completed high school or college work will be admitted on a probation basis until they complete the first semester, upon which their status will be re-examined.

Please keep in mind that if you complete your courses prior to the school receiving and validating your transcripts, you will not be allowed to graduate until your transcripts are validated. If your transcripts are not valid, you will not graduate. We do not offer any refunds on courses once a student has enrolled in our school.
